Purpose/PlanThe Spokane Elite Basketball Club is dedicated to introducing our student athletes to community services opportunities. The purpose is to teach our athletes the rewards, responsibilities and importance of giving back to their community. Spokane Elite was established in 2007 to provide talented young athletes with quality teaching and the expectations that each athlete will show positive leadership characteristics to their peers and within their social network, at school, at home and within their religious affiliation. This willl place them in a postion to be positive role models to younger youth within the Inland Empire community, thereby, having a positive impact in general upon our community. We believe with opportunity (provided by the basketball club) and hard work (provided by the player), many of these athletes' dream of playing college basketball can become a reality. The plan is for each season from March-August is to schedule as many college recruitment tournaments as possible with college scouts and coaches attending these tournaments evaluating our players. This means that every game is meanful and will be highly competitive. These tournaments will put our players in direct viewing of college scouts, coaches and evaluators. This will help the players, play basketball at a collegiate level. |
MembershipThe annual travel team membership fee for playing on the Spokane Elite Basketball Team is $1,500.00 and up, depending on the team, and your level of commitment. The Club AAU membership fee is $50 per player. Membership fees will defray organization cost such as coaches fees, transportation, hotel accommodations, tournament entry fees and other team expenses. Our club will hosts several fundraising events, camps, clinics, and training through out the year to minimize the impact on precious family resources.
